Looking back

When it’s all still so vivid,
It hurts looking back.
Looking back so many times,
Tears just sting my eyes.
Wishing to go back to what we use to be,
Even knowing it’s never possible.
Fighting the tears of long ago, I try to move on,
Knowing that all you want is for me to be happy.
Try as I may,
You will always be the biggest treasure in my life,
The best thing that has ever happen to me…
