Let Her Go

So the time has come,
for us to let go
we'll walk our own ways
and leave the past behind
I'm left with no choice
for our future is vague

Though once thankful I found you,
this time I got to let go
Though promises have been made,
aren't they meant to be broken?
Though we've had our happy times,
what beats our happiness?
Quarrels it is.

I thank you for playing a role in my once lonesome life,
but every story has an ending
I guess out story has reached its end
well it has to end.

Boy, show no anger for what
I fear is that in you
like a volcano on the verge of eruption,
erupt no more
my little one for you
I see a devil in disguise.

Its time we really look at the picture,
that we haven't looked at,
that we haven't figured out,
but for now its time to face reality
the reality that we're not meant to be.
